Dale Cooper Rookie Spotlight Empty Dale Cooper Rookie Spotlight

Wed Jul 29, 2020 6:14 pm
Dale Cooper's rookie season has been a struggle so far, as the Charlotte Cardinals did not get off to a very good start to the season. Their 1st round draft pick has been out-played and moved to a reserve role, their 2nd round draft pick started the season working as a middle reliever, and Cooper has had a quiet bat as the 3rd round pick. Still, things are starting to turn around now with Rodriguez joining the starting rotation and looking like the Cardinals ace and SS Peterson and 1B Mitchell having solid production at the top of the lineup. For Cooper, he has still been the best defensive CF in the league, but he has work too do in cleaning up his errors. Surprisingly, Coop's arm has been a big strength of his this season with him having 8 outfield assists on the season. Still, Cooper is hitting a lowly .240 and the team is going to need more production from him offensively by the time the playoffs are here.
