Day 4, May 27th.
Fillers lives matter! The SBL Inaugural Filler Draft was done offline yesterday. Talk to us about your fillers. Why did you make them this way? Do you think they'll last long in the league? If you haven't made fillers, you can tell us why you decided not to, or what they would have been like if you had made one. Tell us about them for 1 uncapped TPE.

I believe both my fillers will have a lasting impact on the league. Sapphira Rivera has strong movement and a good sinker that should allow her to find a spot as a depth reliever once the SBL gets filled with real players. Mire Willicams on the other hand will profile better as a defensive replacement off the bench, and possibly could see some time as a platoon player vs. rhp.

For my fillers, I went with longevity. They're all going to be useful this season, but as soon as some players move up in the SBL, some fillers won't be needed anymore, which is why i tried to find them some niche roles. Serika Saturn is a Circle Change specialist with high movement and low stamina, I figure she could be used as a medium relief pitcher for a while. Hollow Bonehead is all about power. Need a homerun late in a game to change? Bring Bonehead in. Chances are he'll strikeout, but if he hits, it's most likely out of the field.

I didn't create a filler because I don't intend on filling in, rather I will be starting and ending and doing everything. You will not stop me in my path of glory with these pesky fillers. I WILL GET MY REEEEEVEEEEENGE!!!!!!!

Hewta (Hit 'em where they ain't) Jones is the best shortstop in the draft. His hitting and defensive ability are unparalled in this class. Just, don't ask him to turn a double play. He should be in strong contention for both SS awards come the end of the season.

I didn't make any fillers because I don't want to micro manage a bunch of good for nothings. Pingu Flipperson is my pride and joy. If I did make a filler his name would be Jack Goff cause it's funny.

I made Slop McGoo for one single thing and that is to be able to put the bat on the ball. He should end up being one of the better fillers at the plate, if not the best.

My filler was made in the legacy of R.A Dickey. Arguably the best Knuckleballer in MLB history. Even tho this I didn't make him a Knuckleballer because that is toxic

I chose not to do a filler, I just started this league, so I do not want to overcomplicate myself already, I'm fine with just having 1 player for now. Perhaps in the future I might create a filler, however, that is unlikely. I plan on sticking with Bridges for a while, and making a lasting impact on SBL.

My filler is Ryan Getzlaf, I made this my filler as I know he's a real life friend of Bushito and I figured Bush would like the surprise. Unfortunately he has not seen it yet, but I hope he appreciates the gesture and that Getzlaf will pitch for Minnesota!

Roy Halladay and Joe Carter are the two big name fillers I made. Both solid players across the board. Halladay’a strong suit is his control, whereas Carter is good at hitting the ball all over the place. I hope they go early, as both will give their new teams an excellent chance to win

I haven't created a filler because... well... I haven't seen anything about making one. I've heard people talking about them and the draft that was being done for them, but never saw where to make one. So now I guess I need to see if I can still make one.

Well, terrible look here but I completely forgot to make a filler. If I did, I probably would have made a pitcher. Get someone who packs some straight heat, not as much stamina though. Maybe best suited for relief pitching or something. I was pretty torn between creating a fielder or creating a pitcher, so I probably would have definitely made a pitcher. Maybe he'd have gone pretty high overall, who knows now?

I made one filler for the SBL, not realizing I could make 2. I made a 3rd baseman who can make some hopefully decent contact at the plate, but he should provide much needed stability on defense.

I did not make a filler for the SBL. If I did, I'd probably make a knuckleball pitcher just to see if they're as overpowered as people say they are. That being said, 300 or 350 TPE isn't a crazy amount to work with, so maybe I'd have gone the route a couple of others did and make a pure velocity pitcher.

I didn’t make a filler because I continuously put it off. If I had made a filler he would’ve been a power-hitting left fielder probably put all tpe into power. If I made a pitcher he would’ve definitely been a flamethrower (otherwise known as a high velocity pitcher).

Nye and Knuckles will be one of the mainstays of the league. Trust and believe me. Nye Keeyowtlet and Knuckles TheEchidna both love bringing the challenge to fools. Haha Nye is a contact hitter that can get those clutch hits when you need him and Knuckles (just like the name suggests) is built to get those knuckleballs past your favorite hitters.

Created a balanced 3B filler. He should be useful for this season and may be rolled out as the community expands. Gave him a small bump in speed so he has some utility.

I created two fillers, one fielder and one pitcher.

Hit 'Em Where They Ain't is the concept of what I would have done if I went ahead with a hitter over a pitcher with my real guy. A solid, speedy contact outfielder who slaps the ball all over the field where the defenders aren't at... with decent defensive range, so he should be a positive WAR player from the get-go.

As for 1, 2, 3 Strikes, You're Out. I'm not sure what I wanted to do with him. Probably just see what a 350-TPE pitcher would look like. A corny name too, yes I know. But it should be fun checking those two fillers out in the bigs.

I present to you: Tuu Stronk and Tuufastu Hitte. They are a power hitter 1B and a power pitcher respectively. While some may discredit Stronk and think he's too old to play in the big leagues, he is truly a stud and shouldn't be looked down upon due to his age. Additionally, Hitte is a great pitcher who will probably last long in the league due to his reliever/closer capabilities.

See, I could have never been able to make a filler, because they would just be too good. the essence of Erik Shawn would engulf this filler, making them perhaps the best filler in the game, so good, in fact, that they would have to be removed after the season. Really, I did the league a favor. I wouldn't want to give them any extra work.

I made Ravenna Rivera a catcher in hopes that she can play with her older sister and pitcher Saphhira Rivera. I also made Groundballer Belissa Striker because I thought it would be funny to make a play on the old adage that girls can't throw, so i made he a groundballer because you know she can't get it to the plate. Fillers are fun and are meant to add enjoyment to the leauge I hope people get some joy out of this little extra we have included in our first season, because i know i will.

For my fillers, I basically copied filler designs from people that I know have knowledge about OOTP and how it works. My pitcher is a carbon copy of AW's pitcher filler, and my batting filler is a copy of McWolf's power outfielder filler. I wanted to make sure they kept their value for as long as possible. Especially because I am a GM and these I need good players.
