1.) Your Backstory
As the (slightly) younger half of a pair of Japanese-born twins, Rin was almost always the magnet for attention. She developed the bubblier personality, and was generally the more outgoing sibling. With all eyes on her, she always strives to be the best version of herself possible. While her outward persona projects confidence and comfort, she's secretly been very conscious of how she's been received. Her standards for herself are very high, though none aside from her brother are aware of it.
2.) Your past Baseball experiences
With such a strong baseball culture in Japan, Rin and her brother Len grew up as fans of the game. Rin, specifically, wanted to be a pitcher from the very beginning; thus, Len was made to catch while she pretended to be the ace of a championship team. As time passed and the lofty dreams of childhood turned into serious ambitions, Rin found herself powering their high school team to an impressive season.
3.) What type of player are you?
Being a female in baseball comes with disadvantages, and Rin is no exception to this. Her top speed isn't quite competitive with the best power pitchers in the game, but that doesn't mean she doesn't try to compensate. Instead of blowing 100mph fastballs by her opponents, she focuses on putting her pitches right where she intends to. Her game relies on well-placed pitches that move, striking out batters with finesse rather than brute force.
4.) Where you scouted? If not why did you choose the SBLM?
The SBLM became a viable opportunity when professional scouts started to turn a blind eye to the control-heavy pitcher. As a newer league with everything to prove, Rin found herself relating to the storyline of the league itself. It serves as a chance for her to prove herself on an unproven stage, and if all goes well, the reputations of both will be solidified in one fell swoop.
5.) Interesting facts about your player.
-Rin is a fantastic vocalist, and isn't afraid to show off a bit. Some would say that she could have pursued avenues in singing, rather than baseball.
-Rin has never worked with a catcher other than her brother. It's unclear whether she refuses to, or if it's simply been the best possible combination all along.
