Delgado/ Muckers Brand

Well the seasons are finally over. Both Dallas and Chicago finished last in the regular season and were quickly dispatched come playoff time. Such had been their fate in both seasons so far, and it’s been hard on both Carlos and Muckers.

Carlos himself enjoyed a good first season in the SBL, looking like a real good player for the Drillers to build around. But the team needs to bring in more help if they are to make a go of it. The pitching is good, but most nights it’s hard to scrounge enough hits to get a victory. Management has promised to fix that though.

For Muckers, he wasn’t used very much in his first year. Known mostly for his blazing speed on his pitches, his control and movement leave something to be desired. He will stay down in the minors for another season though before heading to the draft. He’s confident he can be a good contributor for some lucky team that takes a chance on him though.

Both players are looking forward to getting the new season started and are hoping that better days are ahead as they both grow in skill and experience. Time will tell
