With the Atlanta Braves always a hot ticket in town, Maddux spent much of his childhood following and watching the hometown team. As soon as he could, he was playing baseball, and turned out to be very resemblant of a certain Hall of Fame pitcher that he shared a name with. With an uncanny knack for control and eating up innings. At just seventeen years old, he now heads to the SBLM to pursue his dreams of being a professional baseball player.

2.) Your past Baseball experiences - Maddux has played organized baseball since he was a child, and has excelled at each of them. However, none have offered competition quite like the SBLM, leaving this as his biggest test yet.

3.) What type of player are you? - Maddux is a starting pitcher capable of eating up innings, specializing with his pinpoint accuracy with his pitches. The bullpen loves when he has good outings!

4.) Were you scouted? If not why did you choose the SBLM? - The SBLM offers the best opportunity towards being a professional baseball player, so it was a natural choice to join the league for Maddux.

5.) Interesting facts about your player. - All three of Thomas John Maddux's names reference the dynamic rotation of the Atlanta Braves of the 90s/00s: Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, and Greg Maddux. Despite also having the name, "Tommy John," he has never had the infamous surgery, and never will, since this is a sim league and injuries are turned off.
