Donation Guide and Index

To be able to provide the best experience that we can here at the SBL, the Admins and I have decided to open up the ability to donate to the league in order to continue improving upon our league and offer a prime sim league experience. There are costs that can go along with running a sim league at the level we want to be at and those costs include: Index hosting, forum upgrade, a potential upgrading tool, and getting our own domain name as well to keep building our branding as a league.

The SBL will accept donations and these donation funds will be used solely for the purpose of the costs incurred by a new forums, new domains, and any other improvements that we are making upon the league. Yes, all donation money will solely be used for league purposes.

With the donations, we will be providing bonuses to our donating members. These bonuses can be used on any active player that you have!

Keep in mind, most donation bonuses WILL NOT roll over on a season to season basis and must be used in the season that you donated to the league. However, as other leagues are doing, we will allow free weeks to be rolled over to the FOLLOWING SEASON ONLY so a free week purchased in Season 1 may be used in either Season 1 or Season 2 but not Season 3.

Donation Options:

Tier 1 - Free Week - $5

The Tier 1 donation will give the user a free week which is worth a full week of TPE (Worth 11 TPE without a job, worth 14 TPE with a job). You may complete a Tier 1 donation multiple times in a season.

Tier 2 - Doubles Week and Free Week - $10

The Tier 2 donation will give the user the same benefits of a free week in tier 1. The Tier 2 donaters will also be able to claim a doubles week which will give you uncapped TPE that will double your capped TPE earned for a week. (Worth 11 Uncapped TPE without a job, worth 14 TPE with a job). Claiming Tier 2 in one week can yield 22 or 28 TPE in a week! Tier 2 donations are limited to once per season. A user may not be gifted and use a second tier 2 donation.

Tier 3 - 8 Uncapped, Doubles Week, and Free Week  - $15

The Tier 3 donation will give the user the same benefits of a free week and doubles week as outlined in tier 2. With a Tier 3 donation, you will also earn 8 Uncapped TPE, the same amount as writing an article and can be added at any time. Claiming a Tier 3 donation in one week can yield 30 or 36 TPE in a week! Tier 3 donations are limited to once per season. A user may not be gifted and use a second tier 3 donation.

Donation Gifting

We here understand that not everybody is able to donate to the league and that is okay! Many times, people ask about someone being able to donate and have someone else use their donation, it is usually a big resounding no.

However, if someone wants to gift a full tier donation, we will allow it one time for the purpose of either gifting to one user or to a league raffle. What this means is that User A could get 2 Tier 2 donations and one may be used for a separate user or even be used for some kind of league raffle of some sort at a future time. However, what will not be allowed is a user purchasing a Tier 3 donation and splitting the parts of a donation with another user (Ex: You get uncapped and free week, I will get doubles!). You may not gift a Tier 2 or 3 donation to a user who already has used that donation tier that season, tier 1 may be (but only the one gift). As with all donations, this is purely voluntary and nobody should feel a need to donate to the league on someone else's behalf.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not try and solicit another user into gifting you a donation. If this is seen in any public space you may face punishment as determined by the league admins such as suspensions or being banned from the league.
