Cooper Ready for the Pros

Dale Cooper has announced that he will only be with the Pittsburgh Pioneers for one season, as the CF will be entering the Season 1 SBL draft. Cooper has gotten some very positive attention this season in the SBLM as a player with high potential at the plate and on the base paths, but his most elite skill has undoubtedly been his defense. His ability to cover a large amount of ground in the outfield has impressed media members and scouts, and is something that makes Cooper an intriguing prospect for any SBL team.

Cooper does still have some areas of his game that he needs to work on. Despite hitting for a decent average, Cooper does strike out more than you would like him to. Cooper has also been caught stealing far too often this season on a very aggressive Pittsburgh team, and his arm has room for improvement as well. Still, no player in the SBLM is perfect right now, and Cooper figures to be a high draft pick with the immediate value that he can offer to a team
