The Mohawks have been on fire. They ended the season on an 8-game winning streak to edge the Storm and get the home advantage in the opening round. They cleaned the Storm in 2 games, getting their streak up to 10, then swept the Centurions in the second round. Their streak is at 13 straight wins.
The Pioneers had their number all season, but can they deal with a red hot Mohawks squad? What's fun about this whole situation is that two of the players that carried the offense for Sherbrooke throughout the regular season have been but a shadow of themselves in the playoffs. Mekajiki and McKenzie were respectively 2nd and 3rd in batting average, with McKenzie also hitting the 2nd more HR, in the SBLM this season, but they have combined for 7 hits, 2 homeruns in 5 games.
So, if the rest of the Mohawks, who have been driving the team to this impressive double-digit win streak, stays hot and Mekajiki and McKenzie turn their game around and join them, is there really any team in the league who can stop that?

Too bad that Chicago and Victoria are out, but looking forward to seeing who makes SBL and SBLM history
