Nate Nitro Rookie Spotlight

Nate Nitro, picked by the Indianapolis Invaders in the fourth round of the SBL S1 Entry Draft has been making good strides in his first few starts at the big League level.
Nitro impressed people when he was able to win on Opening Day in a tightly contested pitching duel against his former SBLM teammate and Current Toronto Bighorns ace pitcher Cid Ramirez (who was the #1 Overall pick).
Through Nitro’s first five starts, he sports a W-L record of 3-0 with an ERA of 3.41 and has rung up 32 strikeouts, one shy of the League lead. Out of Nitro’s five starts, three was recorded as Quality Starts - and this guy’s performance may have surprised everybody, especially the three other teams who opted to select other pitchers over him.
Indianapolis has gotten off to a 14-6 start, five game better than everybody else to date. It will be interesting to see if both Nitro and the Invaders can continue this strong start or if they will regress back to the norm with the other teams.
