Flippin' Out! Empty Flippin' Out!

Sat Jun 20, 2020 2:04 am
Pingu Flipperson knows he's destined to be great. Already showing competence in both infield play, and at the plate there's no doubt in his bone that he should go up to the majors. There's obvious benefits in staying in the minor leagues but when you have that itch you just have to scratch it.

Getting on base and stealing bases makes him the perfect candidate for lead off batter. "If you're not first you're last," said Pingu, "It's from my favourite driver Ricky Bobby. It's what sticks to me, to my core, and to my play."

He is definitely far from last but he isn't exactly first. So why? Pingu said I might not be first now but up there anything is possible in this new league. They can become first later but right now I'll be first up in the major leagues. He said that without any sarcasm, or jest but only with a sheer determined look.
